Jalopy 315 Columbia St, Brooklyn NY Will Scott's blend of blues, rock and Americana shines in
both his original songs and amazing voice. Will grew up in
the Midwest, in a family immersed in music for generations.
Scott's style crystallized into a mix of trance americana,
funk, soul, blues and roots rock. Will's self-released cd "
Solo Electric Blues" was quite well-received.

Maybelles.

Freddy's 485 Dean Street, Brooklyn NY This monthly excursion into music from the pre-recorded era
runs the gamut from bluegrass to old-time fiddle tunes to
folk songs. Hosted by the Strung Out String Band, the old
time jam is always packed with musicians and drunken Park
Slopies. Bring instruments and friends and remember the
rules: No twelve bar blues, No songs that aren't at least
50 years old, Everyone gets to play.

Barbes 6th AVe and 9th St, Brooklyn NY Bob Guida is a king-sized, jovial, Italian American
gentleman from Queens who is one of NYC's finest performers
of pre-blues, early blues, and sanctified songs from the
African American tradition. Dubbed "The Pavarotti of the
Blues," his passion is playing music and singing. He is
also, by trade, a mortician who now runs his family's
funeral home in Corona, Queens.
